As our 2008 race season comes to an end, we would like to thank all of our sponsors who have helped us achieve a successful season. Jetta Girl Racing team landed the second place position in the NHRDA Pro-2 points series. This is a result and testament to the teamwork involved and dedication of our generous sponsors.

JS Performance, through all the trials and celebrations throughout this season you guys have stuck it out with me. I want to give you my most sincere thanks for that. I feel like my vocabulary is inadequate to describe my gratitude for all you have done for the team this season. You had many opportunities to bail out, and I’m sure a more sane person would have, but you were steadfast in your commitment to our team. You seemed to have a knack for coming up with all the right answers, even if it meant staying up all night wrenching on the car. You have built North America’s first BRM engine to reach 201HP (201.51, but who’s counting?) and that is something to be proud of. I am not lying by saying that this season could not have happened without you. Even when we were dealt a bad hand, even when my car was frustrating us all to no end, you always greeted me with such warm smiles, a funny joke, and when I was really lucky – a candy bar. This is more valuable to me than you will ever know. Thank you so very much.

KermaTDI, Paul and Charlie, thank you guys for coming on board this season. Your products made it possible for JSP to build my car to handle the abuse and hard launches it repeatedly went through this season. Your kindness, patience and generosity are so humbling. Paul, you were a pillar I leaned on when problems would arise that I didn’t know how to fix. Charlie, you were so kind and generous with your time when you came out to Portland and we were finally able to meet in person. You guys were always willing to do whatever it took to get the car back together so we could finish out the season on a high note. You went above and beyond our sponsorship agreement and I am so grateful. Thank you, I hope I made you proud to be a part of our team.

Mr. Deez Motorsports, thank you for making a kick-ass wrap for the car, and thank you for building a cool website. I was so proud to have the best looking car at the race track, and I can’t wait to see what designs you have in mind for next season!
